EVENTS AT THE CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF WESTON

WESTON TOWN-WIDE INTERFAITH THANKSGIVING SERVICEMonday,
November 24 – 7:00 p.m.

Of particular interest to our church is the honor of
having our own Massachusetts Conference Minister
and President, Dr. James Antal, offer the sermon at
the Interfaith Thanksgiving service to be held at First
Parish. Paul Schendel has been working with the
planning team for this event, which will focus on a
stewardship theme, giving thanks for the gifts of
creation while seeking to redress our ecological
problems. The service will end with the ringing of
bells 350 times as we exit out to the town Common,
thus participating in the movement to reduce CO2
levels to 350 parts per million There will be
participation in the service by Jewish, Muslim and
Christian leaders.
